The Undergraduate Level 4/5 Health and Social Care course carries 240 credits. The course is designed to fast track students to the final year of an associated Undergraduate Degree within the Health and Social Care field. Level 4 of this course is equivalent to Year 1 of a University Degree and Level 5 to Year 2 of a University Degree. The final year Top-Up Degree can be completed at a UK University, either on campus or through a Distance Learning Programme.

The course pulls together theory and practice for those who wish to work with people in a caring environment. It is suitable as a foundation for those envisaging a move onto one of the many health or social professions.

On successful completion of the full programme and the final year of an accredited Undergraduate Degree programme, students will be eligible to pursue a professional career in Health and Social Care services.

  • L4 - 6 modules & 6 assignments – 120 Credits
  • L5 – 5 modules & 5 assignments – 120 Credits
  • Each Module - 40 hours of guided learning and 30-50 hours of optional materials – exercises, recommended exercises, reading and self-testing exercises.
  • Study Resources Included – Online modules, Course materials, Personal tutor support through video conferencing – Skype, Zoom, Team, etc., Dedicated Student support.
